Episode Nine: Silver Watch of the Dog of the Military - Ed's first assingment is to investigate a mine in a town called Youswell. When they arrive in the
town, the locals try to milk the boys for all the money they're worth. Since Ed doesn't have enough money to stay in the inn, he becomes immensly popular when
he fixes the miners' broken tools, but is immediately cast out after they learn he is from the military. Despite the miners' harsh treatment, Ed stands up for them
when the prissy Lieutenant Yoki decides to ravage the inn. After learning that Ed is a Certified Alchemist, Yoki tries to win him over, and apparently succeeds. Whose
side is Ed on?

Episode Ten: Theif Psiren - Not really wanting to face Col. Mustang after the incident with Conero, the brothers stop in Aquroya to
temporarily escape their problems. Almost on the spot, Ed is arrested and taken to the police station because there is a theif who uses alchemy running loose
in the city. Ed and Al get sucked into helping the detectives, of course, since Ed will not stand for alchemy being used for thievery...And can the thief possibly
give them clues to the whereabouts of the philosopher's stone?

Episode Eleven: Gravel Earth- Part One - The brothers follow another possible lead they have on the Philosopher's Stone, and this time they travel to the once-prosperous city of Zerotime.
Ed saves a little girl from being crushed under a mining cart when they arrive, and the two of them are thanked greatly by her father. While visiting, they learn of a man named
Magwar who is conducting research on the Philosopher's Stone. The villagers learn the boys' names and kick them out, claiming the real Elric brothers are already researching the project. More than slighly
angered, the boys decide to check it out. After being chased out of the research mansion, the boys enter through an undergound tunnel, and discover some funny red water...

Episode Twelve: Gravel Earth- Part Two - After a close encounter with the red water, the imposters let Ed and Al escape after the commotion summons Magwar and his guards. The Fullmetal Brothers return to their hiding place where Elisha is and learn a bit about Nash Tringham, the discoverer of the red water. Meanwhile, Nash's sons are imprisoned in the mansion, and they learn that Magwar is going to use a rather gruesome approach to creating the Philosopher's Stone. To do this, he requires the assistance of the real brothers, and approaches Ed and Al the next day to see if he can get them to help...
